Description
The 16th and final edition of the PlayStation Underground subscription to hold a PlayStation 1 CD within its grasp. There would be one PS2 exclusive issue, and then the team focused on the included demos that came with the Official PlayStation Magazine.

Review

Trivia
  • The case itself is a nifty double sided job. If you open it from the spine, it opens to reveal the ‘contents’ side of the packaging. If you flipped it over, and pushed against the ‘front’ of the case, you could open either panel and get access to the PSone demo or the PS2 demo.

  • In a rather cute moment of catch-22, the animated host comments about how you can witness the PS2 launch by watching the PS2 disc, except you can only do that if you have a PS2, which would have meant you'd already have been there to see the system launched.

  • Most Underground Demos had secret codes that could be entered to reveal hidden gems on the disc. Each issue of UG that followed would then show what the codes were for the previous issue. Was a rather unique way to revisit something you probably wouldn't look at again.
