Review
Here we have a pretty decent but repetitive action adventure game where players take on the role of Xena. You can do combos, throw her ring weapon, and use the enemy attacks against them by uncovering power-ups and hidden scrolls. It loosely follows the television show with various character cameos.

Trivia
  • The original releases of the game came with a small entry form for the Xena Fan Club. This is considered an ad and not needed for the game to be 'complete'.

  • Lucy Lawless is mentioned in the Special Thanks section.

  • In the 3rd stage of Level 1 (where you must kill off the Pirate Leader), if you hang right at the beginning, you can cut a rope holding a box. Hop the boxes to the hanging shark. If you hit the shark, various meal leftovers will pop-out, like pirate ship flags and swords. If you keep at it long enough, eventually a half eaten surfboard will pop out!

  • Xena's line of, "Catapults...I hate Catapults." is a joke reference to Indiana Jones's line of, "Snakes...I hate snakes."
