Trivia
  • The World Wrestling Federation lost a lawsuit with the World Wildlife Fund over the WWF intials. Hence why the league is now called WW(E) for World Wrestling Entertainment.

  • Acclaim did the strategy guide for the game in-house, rather than having companies like Prima and Brady handle it.

  • Both War Zone and Attitude feature a rather impressive (for the time) Create-a-Character mode. From a casual visual stand point and a small bit of creative color changing, you can actually get decent representations of characters from other games like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. My best was a Scorpion / Sub-Zero attempt.

Greatest Hits
This game was released as a standard Greatest Hits.

WWF War Zone - Greatest Hits Edition

Variations / Misprints
The original release of the game has a v1.0 and v1.1 printing variant.
The only difference is some coding in the game. Won't affect game play,
but GameShark / Action Replay codes will have to be checked for compatibility.
