Discussion
A rather nice, very playable and gamer friendly version of America's past time. If you're not a modern day sports game fan and still need to round the bases, check this out. Very well done, and animation aside holds up really well. Looks great in S-Video.

Trivia
  • Accolade made a name for themselves during the Genesis era when they began publishing their own game's outside of the Sega Licensing Agreement, just like EA did. Eventually they did things proper thanks to a Sega lawsuit.

  • The founders of Accolade, Alan Miller and Bob Whitehead, originally founded Activision.

  • Hard Ball has an interesting in-game camera option; Random. Essentially it will randomly change your point of view based on the several built-in camera angles. At first it felt confusing, but after an inning you not only get used to it, but prefer it. It really does keep the game from feeling repetitive and there's no real 'bad' camera angle.

  • You have a chance to play against the 'All-Time' Team, consisting of Babe Ruth, Shoeless Joe Jackson, and more.
