Description / Review

Sony releases a true cartoon racer where the cars themselves can bend just like their cel based counterparts around corners and hairpin turns. The physics engine is a wee bit on the realistic side.
Trivia
  • This was one of Kazunori Yamauchi's first ever racing projects. You know him better as the father of Gran Turismo!

  • The 'Goodies' section contains new tracks, new characters, a version of Battleship called Submarine X, and a  Motor Toon parody of Battlezone. Both mini-games are Link Compatible.

  • On an ironic side note, Hasbro actually had a PSX version of their board game Battleship planned, but scrapped the project.

  • The final hidden goodie is Motor Toon R. The R is for Reality, and its really a playable version of the very early Gran Turismo test build!
