Trivia Though the scan doesn't help, the disc artwork is actually not a jumbled mess. It's a zoom in of Monkey Hero's face looking right. It's hard to tell even just looking at the disc in real life.   The game is inspired by the Wu Ch'eng-En's book Monkey Folk Novel of China   One of the Special Thanks was to the then deceased BMG Interactive, complete with "R.I.P." written next to their name.   One of the credited is known only as "The Helmet King"
