Description / Review

Here's my theory on how Loaded came into this world: Somewhere a long time ago a bunch of Gremlin programmers were playing Gauntlet, and one turned to the other and said, "You know Wally, I bet we could make this even better if we could blow people to smithereens and and just lump buckets of blood everywhere."

Thus, Loaded was born.

You take one of six lunatic mutants through the dimly lit corridors of a truly insane asylum looking for key cards to gain access to each next level. Along the way you can grab power-ups, use super bombs to crack open hidden passages and ultimately survive the literal thousands of monsters and asylum staff all waiting to leave you a mark on the wall.

Trivia
  •  Loaded was released in two variations. See below.

  • Although it carries the Mature ESRB Rating, there is no mention of why it received the rating (though, I'm sure the copius amounts of blood have something to do with it).

  • The long box version displays the Memory Card icon, but for some reason it is missing from the jewel case version.

Greatest Hits
Loaded was released as a Greatest Hits. Pictures coming soon.
Variations / Misprints
Loaded was released in cardboard long box and then standard jewel case format before going to the Greatest Hits.

The cover illustration was cropped and completely redone to fit the new size, while there were no major changes on the back.
