Trivia The first Grand Theft Auto to use Full Motion Video footage.   The footage was originally used as fodder for commercials. Several of the sequences clearly show the Twin Towers of New York, despite it being a fictional city.   PlayStation version was 'toned down' when compared to its PC version, which required higher kill counts and contained a bit more audio vocal clips.
