| Description / Review One of the few next-generation FMV games I could openly tolerate back in the day, Acclaim's US release of Warp's D proved to be one of their few great moves. D focuses around Laura, the daughter of a quiet doctor who suddenly goes on an unexplained and unprovoked killing spree at the hospital where he works. Once you arrive, you are sucked into a portal and teleported to a bizarre mansion. It is here inside the haunted halls of a mad man's psyche that you must discover the mystery of 'D". Game play is focused not so much on you controlling Laura, but rather moving her along a set choice of paths that will direct her to specific points in the house. By using clues and placing items where they go, you will make your way to the top of the mansion's devilish mansion and come face to face with her father. What makes D so interesting is you literally only have 2 hours to beat the game, with no save functions allowed. Your only help is Laura's compact, which will allow for three visual clues as to your next move. Other than that, it's just you, the mansion, and 2 hours of sheer mental terror.
