Review
A rather surprising entry into the 'movie game' genre...surprising at just how bad it is. The most annoying aspect is the camera is just a tad too close to Flik, our main character. Bundle this with very bland levels, almost completely devoid of any clues as to what you're supposed to do, and you have a recipe for disaster.

What's really surprising at just how off this game really is. Based on a movie full of creativity and inventiveness, the game comes across as a stripped down marketing tool rather than a chance to expand on the movie's premise.

Trivia
  • How's this for getting around? Three different companies published A Bug's Life across 4 different variant categories!

  • The game contains 3 Hidden FMVs and 3 Hidden Stages.

This game was released as a Greatest Hits through it's original publisher, Sony.

Variations / Misprints
Besides the original and GH versions, Bug's Life got two more chances at...well...life thanks to GS Software and Take Two Interactive. Take Two released it as a regular version as seen below.

Meanwhile, Global Star Software would group Bug's Life, Tigger's Honey Hunt, and Tarzan in a Collector's Edition package.
