Review
Before Wii Sports, this was the bowling game to beat; from the same group that brought us Ten Pin Alley. An amazing physics engine that is complemented by superb opponents and the one of the most option rich games at the time.

The game's only true fault is that it does not allow the same created character to be used between the various Exhibition and Career Modes; you must have a separate created bowler for each one.

Trivia
  • There's an odd glitch that doesn't happen very often, but when it does it's pretty obvious. In one of the degree's of a pins rotation is a physics glitch that will cause a pin to suddenly 'grow' for a split second and then bounce wildly among its fellow pins. It happened once while I was taking screenshots, but sadly was not one of the exposures provided.

  • Chris Barnes began his rookie year featured in a video game; not bad.

  • The crowd graphics aren't to proper scale in some angles. In fact, if you check the screenshots on the back of the box, you'll see the best example. The large advertising board they are sitting behind is twice the size it should be.
