| Description / Review "Monopoly...even if you think you liked the game, you didn't and it's simple. Why? Because this is anybody here two and a half hours into a Monopoly game, '[Screw] this game, I quit! It's 4 in the morning, Grandma....YOU WIN!" - Dane Cook If there was ever a quote to start a game review, that comment sums up the reason you play Top Shop. Imagine a hip version of Monopoly, but instead of measly hotels and houses, you're scoping out prime retail real estate space. As you land on empty squares, you have options to open up different stores and then stock them each time you land on them. Even better, when you land on an opponent's store, you can have the option to buy out their property, or just buy something from it. The object of the game is to reach a certain goal, as well as bankrupt the other players by forcing them to purchase too many expensive items. When you first start off the game, it really can be a bit deceiving, what with the mall's Keystone Capers inspired layout and bizarre Japanese cast of characters. Once you get the movement patterns down and keep the Monopoly mentality in the back of your mind, you're in for a wild ride.
