Puzzle players unite!

Ballistic is the exciting new action puzzle game everyone's talking about! It's simple to play and offers endless hours of fun. Your goal is to keep the balls from reaching the center gate. Rotate the launcher and shoot the balls into a constantly growing string of balls. Matching 3-of-a-kind creates a "chain reaction" and makes them disappear. Combine multiple chains for even more points!

Discussion
Amazing puzzle game, and one that should not be passed up! See trivia for modern versions.

Trivia
  • Released on Halloween...and my sister's birthday. : )

  • Ballistic lives on in many forms - on PSN, PC, and Xbox Live it's spiritual successor is Zuma, and Nintendo created a similar game called Magnetica on the DS. The game Luxor is also similar, but instead of being in the center, you're at the bottom of the screen.

  • There's a somewhat neat way to cheat for multipliers. When you're down to two colors (example: 2 blue and 1 red), the game will only give you the two colors to finish the round. Simply build a pattern that will terminate all at once, then fire the last shot to eliminate the entire string. A little tricky on the smaller tracks, but easy if you're last spheres are on the outer-most ring.
