Description
No 3D Fighter Can Match the Brutal Action of Iron and Blood!

An axe wielding medieval mother wants your heart on a stick...An armored killing machine wants his mace in your head...A ferocious fiend wants his claws in your charred corpse...either way, you're facing an eternity on the edge of a rusty blade.

Review
A terrible, terrible fighting game. While the graphics and sound are passable, the control and combat system leave way too much to be desired, including two separate block buttons! I think I tried 7 different characters before giving up on it. Only for the complete collection folk, and even then, don't bring attention to it.

Trivia
  • The game's name is shortened to "IRONBLUD" in it's main file directory. Either an Acclaim staffer was really pressed for time or can't spell.

  • One of the few Acclaim games that does not end every sentence in an exclamation point on the packaging. Granted, it's just two out of seven, but that's not too bad.

  • When the game came out, there was an address in the back of the book to allow you to get in contact with the game's designer. Sadly it is no longer in use.

  • The only Advanced Dungeons and Dragons game in the entire PlayStation library. Even the Intellivision had more.

Game loaded  fine with both options turned on.

PlayStation 2 Compatibility - Smooth
With the smooth option on, there's not much to see except for some nice cleaning up on the edges. When the game is moving you really can't tell.
