Description / Review

Take on the role of two children, Ruff and Tumble, as you travel through your dreams to rescue the the final 40 Winks, magical creatures that help keep peace in the land of dreams. To do so, you must take on 6 worlds and battle the evil NiteKap.
Trivia
  • What will probably go down in PlayStation history as the strangest review reference ever lies on the cover of 40 Winks. The quote reads, "Move over Mario..." and is quoted from the Nintendo Official Magazine, June '99. While there is a Nintendo 64 version which shares the same cover quote, seeing one's rival mascot's name as well as their rival company on their own product seems odd. Wonder if Sony's reps allowed it just for the sheer humor of it.

  • The manual credits contain two sections marked "Long Lost Family and Friends" and "Pets".

  • Lani Minella, who voices Tumble, has a very prominent career in video game voice-overs. She's done everything from the Dreamcast's Illbleed to the latest PC Game Dungeon Lords. She even has a credit in Major League Baseball 2K5!

  • Marc Silk, who voices Ruff, had a role in the movie Star Wars - Episode 1, and also had a voice in another PSX Game, Hogs of War.
