| Description / Review 101 Dalmatians follows the...say it with me now...London adventures of Patch! Seems our little canine friend wants to live out his life just like his favorite TV star, Thunderbolt. He gets the chance when his 100 brothers and sisters are kidnapped by Cruella De Vil and her henchmen. The game takes a small step back on the evolutionary chart when compared to its predecessor 102 Dalmatians. What is interesting however, is that the project seems built off the same graphical engine, just not the actual world type. Where 102 was a full 3D romp, 101 is a tad more like a sort-of-3D game. You're always confined to a path, and it's usually very narrow, almost like a really huge game of doggy Labyrinth. Now, this doesn't make a good bed fellow for older gamers, but beginners will jump right in. In fact, after doing the screen capture work for both games, I'd actually recommend parents to have their kids play this, than move onto 102 Dalmatians. It's a great way to get hand-eye coordination down as well as figuring out directions and location skills.
