Overview

So where I absolutely loved the Tekken 3 guide's layout, I absolutely hate this one. While Ace Combat 3 is a very in-depth game with plentiful amounts of missions, you could easily get the guide into a 50+ page book, hands down. There are just way too many wide open negative space areas in the guide, which is rather distracting when you are trying to read some oddly large size font that fills most of the book.

That said, the book isn't a bad read, but there are too many instances where it feels like they either were padding the paragraph to make it seem like "shoot missile, move, shoot missile" strategies were not enough to compliment the game. Airplanes all have stats and in-game art sections, which isn't too shabby. Most maps are illustrated well, but seem a tad overkill when all you see on a 5 inch by 5 inch map are a single X and O letting you know it's you and one enemy.

Nothing too exciting, and only for those who just really want to own every guide.
