Box Copy There is no box copy - the demos came in plain cardboard / wrapped sleeves. Discussion The final Official PlayStation Demo disc for the original system. The writing was more or less on the wall (disc?) when they started showing PS2 game videos on the PSX demos discs, and started alternating disc versions. This final demo disc was essentially a sad send off for the PSX community. A system's last year or two is usually filled with kid's games, rushed movie licenses, and quickly released Greatest Hit releases. This is all but cemented in this swan song disc - for god's sake it has a demo of E.T. on it - if that wasn't an ironic nod to the 2600's death, I don't know what is. More importantly, the main features were recycled through the Monsters, Inc demo. |
